We offer Clinical Psychology services to adults and adolescents experiencing a broad range of mental health difficulties including: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Body-focused repetitive Behaviours (BFRBs), Phobias, Tics/Tourette’s syndrome, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Perinatal difficulties. We also help people experiencing life transitions, grief and loss, and general stress.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form, or email or call us. Let us know what you’d like help with, and some appointment dates and times that would suit you for an initial appointment. From there, we can schedule an initial appointment with one of our skilled Psychologists, walk you through the next steps and answer any questions you may have.
-
Prior to the first appointment you will be sent an intake form, and some brief questionnaires about your mental health, which are used throughout treatment to monitor your progress.
In the first appointment you can expect to talk about your current mental health difficulties and any relevant background information, as we begin to build a collaborative, therapeutic relationship. Together, we will develop treatment goals and discuss how these goals can be met in treatment.
As treatment continues, we will routinely monitor how you are progressing in relation to your goals, and make any adjustments to the treatment plan as necessary to optimise outcomes.
-
You are at the centre of everything we do. That’s why evidence-based, results-driven mental health care is paramount to us.

A referral is not required to access psychology services, however a valid referral and Mental Health Care Plan from a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician may help offset the cost. A Mental Health Care Plan from your GP may entitle you to Medicare rebates of $145.25 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Higher rebates may apply if you have reached the Medicare Safety Net.
-
Our standard fee for Clinical Psychology appointments (50 minutes) is $280. We understand that the cost of living is rising and we try to keep our fees lower than the Australian Psychological Society (APS) national schedule of recommended fees (2026-2027), of $330 for a standard 46 to 60-minute consultation.
A Medicare rebate of $149.05* per session (up to 10 per calendar year) may be available with a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. The full fee is processed in session and the rebate is subsequently credited to your nominated bank account by Medicare.
*Once the Medicare safety net has been reached, higher Medicare rebates may be available. For further information about Medicare safety nets see https://www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/medicare-safety-nets.
Private health insurance rebates may also be available depending on your level of cover.
Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS funding is also accepted.
Bulk billing is not available, however our Psychologists can sometimes offer a reduced fee at their discretion to a limited number of clients at any one time experiencing financial hardship. If you require a reduced fee due to financial hardship, please make this known at the time of enquiry.
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations and reschedules within 48 hours will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the full fee. Cancellations (or no-shows) within 24 hours incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the full fee. Medicare rebates cannot be claimed for appointments that were not attended/cancellation fees.

We are passionate about delivering best practice Psychology services to Australia. All appointments are offered via TeleHealth (video or phone), servicing Greater Melbourne and Victoria (VIC), as well as Tasmania (TAS), New South Wales (NSW), Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Northern Territory (NT) and Western Australia (WA).
We understand that some people may have hesitations about the effectiveness of seeing a Psychologist online. Research indicates that psychological interventions provided via TeleHealth are equally effective as those delivered in-person.
-
Appointments are not available in-person at this time, however we are planning to re-open our clinic space and recommence in-person sessions in Bayside Melbourne in late 2026 or early 2027. If you would like to see a Psychologist at Re-Centre, but don’t feel comfortable engaging online, we can place you on our waitlist and let you know when in-person appointments resume.
-
